Slightly unusual Canadian crime comic. What, no Mounties?

This just popped up in my unread pile (only 205 to go). Strange book: no ads, indicia is on the back cover, inside covers are blank, only one staple, in bottom position (not in usual middle position).

Are these Canadian versions substantially different from a content presentation and pricing perspective? If the answer to the pricing question is yes, I'd definitely be interested in learning more.

Would that Thumper #243 be considered a "Canadian White" as opposed to just a Canadian edition?

Just saw the question about content / pricing. I'm no authority on the subject, but the old editions of Overstreet used to include a paragraph on the subject. The gist was that some Canadians were shorter than the Americans, making them worth 50-60% of the originals. that's the case with my Batman 47 above, which is 36 pages. The original was 52 pages.
