The 2017 Eisner Awards at SDCC

Postby MR-SigS » Tue Jul 25, 2017 9:37 pm

Easily, the highlight of my 5 days. A great event with lots of laughs and legends.

Ron Wilson (to my left) and Keith Pollard at the beginning of the Awards.

Cool,... bet you had an awesome time. Looking forward to more pics and an account of your experience. As we all know I'm not a sig collector but I am looking forward to what you may have acquired. You being a "sigger" am I assuming you are saving the best for last? :thumbsup2: :thumbsup2:

I did get a few sigs, but not what you's expect. I have to take pics or scans of them still.

I can tell you I did not purchase a single comic book (or comic lot, for that matter). But I did get a few books on Kirby, including this monolith (with a comic for scale):

Also a dozen or so pieces of art- Published, Pin ups, Con Sketches, Signed Prints- That's where I concentrated. I'll post the Con Sketches now.

Hi!
The sun, with all those planets revolving around it and dependant upon it,can still ripen a bunch of grapes as if it had nothing else in the universe to do

This is a cool thread

I'm glad I picked up a triple signed Infinity Gauntlet #1 with a Thanos Perez sketch on it. Would like to meet him one day
