JK, congrats on the pick-up.

After signing my name at least 20 times, my signature becomes Sal Horowitz.

And that was Tim Vigil that drew the sea monster, Steve.
I stumbled across his videos on youtube, and loved his inking style. His 'Faust' video is my favorite.

Thanks for the reply. I know the name, but am not familiar with his work. I'll have to look up his yt stuff.

Warning! Warning! Vigil is a twisted little monkey. Faust and Grips.

I know it- he gave me a signed sketch collection that's pretty much demon porn  But a great artist.

Hey, very cool. Was that a surprise to you or did you already know it was in there?

I've never read one of those before, but I love those kind of mags.

I wasn't aware of it until after I paid for it. I honestly don't remember the description mentioning it until afterwards, but that isn't likely, and at $25 it didn't stand out as having something special about it.

No worries, please- Just going from my limited Con experience, I imagine sig hunting has to be a chore.

It appears Lieber, Steranko, Wein, S Buscema, Romita Sr, Claremont, Conway, Sinnot, et al will be at the Dallas show this month.

Too bad I'm not a siggy!

Great guest list! I'd definitely have some things for them to scribble on.

No doubt, I'm sure you do.

Even though May holds the largest Dallas con, (with Stan Lee, and Walking Dead stars) this month's line up seems to have a more classic taste.

Picked up two gap fillers (289,290). The Annual is a raw upgrade. I have a few of these- I keep buying them every few years.

I just purchased 17 pages of Rich Buckler comic art. The seller is kicking himself for not raising the prices after Buckler passed away and I got a bargain at a $55 average.
I'm pretty sure these are unpublished, so who knows? If a publisher decides to print his previously unknown work, they may need these.

Hurry up, USPS!

Awesome Vigil pages. He had a Venom cover he did for sale on his Instagram account that is so tempting.

There was a time when both of those were $25 books...in 1992 dollars! ;)

I was at Wonder Con in 1991 or 1992, when it was still in Oakland, and I stumbled across a #289 in some dealer's bin for cover price...I was on cloud 9. At the time, ANYTHING Hobgoblin was worth "$$$".

Little did I know that it would soon revert to being worth cover price again, and would remain that way for the next couple of decades. lol

Same with Annual #15...Miller and Punisher, together? Now, it's perhaps $5, $10 in really nice shape. Since it's not the first appearance of somebody, no one in the current market cares. :thumbsup2:

I know, you'd think the Miller/Punisher combo would mean something with the Netflix generation. Of course, if it did I wouldn't have purchased this upgrade.

After signing my name at least 20 times (at work) my signature appears more like a bolt of lightning followed by a horizontal line. My sig is more difficult to read than a Medical Doctor's.
