Re: DC Rebirth Character Amalgamations

On a side note... Marvel is fucking rebooting AGAIN... Yes but now you'll get Legacy Numbering! If I could get legacy characters by legacy creators creating legacy art and stories, I might give a fucking shit. I just wish that comics were once again written such that each book would be its o...

Jimroller wrote:Hey MR-SigS. The art will be produced normally and then reduced down but the lettering will appear as the same readable text you would find in a standard sized comic book. BTW, The comic will measure 8.5 inches high and 5.5 inches wide.

That sounds pretty cool. :thumbsup2:

On another note, I just won on auction my first Cherry Poptart comic; Cherry Poptart #1. I'll post NSFW scans when it comes in (pun intended).

Re: I don't understand kickstarter

Who writes cheques these days? Paying a million dollars over 10 years is roughly 100,000 a year. The point is that I'd take most of the million (I'd minus my current debt) and invest it, to see if I could make a 10% return over 10 years. That way I could keep the million and have it paid back. If I...

Re: I don't understand kickstarter

Heck lets take it a bit further, say I ask 100,000 for $10 each. Say they are all really well off, actors and CEO's, stuff like that. I wonder if I could really pitch that. Fact is I know for sure I could pay each person back, it would be a matter of time. If I could convince 100,000 rich people to...

Some impulse upgrades, since they were affordable. I've decided to actively hoard at least 4 similarly conditioned copies of 'hot' books because I have 4 grandchildren. Lord knows if they'll even care to keep them when the time comes, but wth, it's fun. Upgrading my WBN 32 isn't likely to happen an...

Re: THIS WEEK IN YOUR COLLECTION

Thanks, Subby. I decided to expand my Avengers run out to #300, and this bunch leaves 2 or 3 issues. Since I'm pretty much at a standstill on ASM #1 & #3 until I see a book and price I feel okay with, I thought I'd put my focus back on The FF. So naturally I'm feeling miserable for selling my #...

Re: First topic EVER in this forum! Who's your favorite villain?

I've been giving some thought to this and I'd like to add Bullseye to my list. The thing is, is that I don't like him at all; I hate his stinkin' guts; that friggin' mouth of his, which makes him such a great douchebag villain.

It will look nicer in this. I'm not screwing with any staples :sad2: It shouldn't be too hard: just remove one staple at a time. Line-up the cover. Carefully un-bend and remove the first staple. Push a sewing needle through the first staple holes in the book block and into the cover. Take your stra...

Re: Favorite Marvel Movie Franchise

I take the MCU as a brand new take on all of it, after all, would you want them to go back and make movies out of all the comic books, gospel? I'm just glad that they can finally get the effects right. Of course not. I hope it didn't sound that way. When I say, for example, Thor didn't feel like Th...

Re: Favorite Marvel Movie Franchise

I dunno Man, I liked them all except the Spidey and Hulk franchises. I DO like Hulk and Spidey in the Avengers movies, however. BTW, I loved Spader as Ultron but I never read any Ultron so I didn't have any preconceived expectations as what he should sound like. I take the MCU as a brand new take on...
