Re: Tick collection and rare Den Beauvais commission piece

Have you considered creating your own page at comic art fans and taking offers there? I really can't offer any pricing advice, unfortunately :(

Beauvais is amazing. I've loved his work since seeing it on covers of Dragon magazine back in the 80s. What a talent!

Yes but now you'll get Legacy Numbering!

If I could get legacy characters by legacy creators creating legacy art and stories, I might give a fucking shit.

Re: DC Rebirth Character Amalgamations

Is Batman in DC Rebirth an amalgamation of pre-Flashpoint and New 52 counterparts like Superman in DC Rebirth? WHat other DC Rebirth characters are amalgamations of pre-flashpoint and New 52 counterparts? Sorry, can't help. When I read that all I heard in my head was... "Is Batman in DC click,...

We're looking for anyone who is interested to buy the comic rights of our mobile game which will be released this July. Also, we'll be glad if fellow comic enthusiasts will advice on the correct approach for this process, or where to go looking for dealers. We're newbies in the industry. Thanks I c...

He says to me-he says to me, 'you got style, baby! But if you're gonna fund a real kickstarter, you gotta get a gimmick.' And so I go, I says, 'yeah, baby! A gimmick, that's it! High explosives... Aaaaahahahahahaha!' Yeah, keep playing with fire, super-pants! You don't know how much fire you're play...

Re: Caveat Emptor!

The problem with these lists is there is no vetting process and you only get one side of the story. I know most people simply want to look out for fellow collectors and their hearts are in the right place but if you are blindly blocking people based on what one random person on the internet says, th...

Re: Talk to me about Valiant

I was also hesitant, but probably not for very good reasons. I really don't like the new look comics have, and while I realize I'm missing out on great stories and art here and there, it keeps me away from buying new books. I'll probably wait until the tried and tested stories make it to TPB. PLUS ...

Re: The Canceled LOBO Cartoon Set In The DCAU That Almost Happened

I think they would have ruined Lobo. I'm no fan but if you were going to do it right, it would have to be based on the Bisley stuff and that would never fly in mainstream animation in the 90s. Today, on the other hand, you could definitely do it but it would have to be on say HBO, or AMC. It would f...

Re: That forgotten medieval fantasy

Camelot 3000 was awesome. Oh yeah. Luckily I didn't have to wait around for the last issue, I read the whole thing after it was done (back then I was too young to have my driver's license and my town had no comic stores). Anything with Bolland interior art is in my collection. Waiting for that last...

I think he still does them. One time when he did a dollar a book sale during a VCC, I got high grade Micronauts 1-12, uncluding 8. All for a buck a piece. Not quite as good as your score but still pretty good for a dollar a book

Re: who here has read the walking dead comics?

Never read it. I would've been mofre inclined to read it if the art was better. I agree that the art could be better. The first few issues were drawn by Tony Moore (good) and then the series was turned over to Adlard (not nearly as good). I always had a hard time telling some of the characters from...
