Re: CGC legal team just sued CBCS

That Star patent was just recently filed, Sept. 10, 2014 if I'm not mistaken, and hasn't been confirmed or granted yet...which makes it look like CGC is just playing games. It's sad and pathetic honestly, and ultimately shows just how scared CGC is of CBCS. They filed the patent after CBCS started r...

I'm getting them as well...quite annoying considering I could never/would never bid on a book in the 2mil + category.

I'm a fan of signed books but even that book is so ugly only a mother could love it. To me, a signature is supposed to be a subtle accent to the cover...that book looks like something my 3 year old daughter would do to my copy if I have her free reign and a black marker.

I'm so tempted to take a half day. Your post sounds like you are coming down with something. You would be doing everyone at work a favor if you left for the day so...

Re: GPA and CBCS

I'm hoping that they will, and let us collectors decide the difference between a CGC and CBCS book of the same grade. If not, I'm gonna drop GPA...no need for it since I plan to primarily stick with CBCS grading.

Re: I love joeypost

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty much over CGC. They've messed up several big keys of mine...including completely detaching the covers off a FF1 and a TOS 39 that were secure to the staples and BC when they left my possession. They've graded a book of mine universal, then on a resub for signing, restor...

Re: I love joeypost

I've got over 200 CGC books in my collection...that ends today, I'm done with their BS and monopoly nonsense. It's CBCS all the way for this collector, I'm waiting on my sub from Heroes to come back and I've got a nice stack of raw books to send in next.

Re: I love joeypost

Does this automatically mean you can't get books pressed and sent to CGC via Joey now? It seems to me that CGC is doing everything in it's power to show that CBCS is a genuine threat. They no longer have a monopoly so they are acting out...it's pretty pathetic if you ask me.
